Remedy Teas in Seattle

I had the day off today from work because I work this weekend, so I got to spend the day with Blair!  We decided to start the day off at Remedy Teas in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.  Their website is full of tips and information about enjoying loose leaf tea, and for those of you not in the Seattle area, you can shop online and shipping is free for anything over $75.  You can also follow them on Twitter, like them on Facebook, or check in on Foursquare (where they offer a special)!

They have over 150 loose leaf teas that are available by the cup, small pot, large pot, or in bulk.

Blair got Orange Krush (#23), a green tea with a hint of citrus and a Vegan Raspberry Coconut muffin that was really yummy.  I ordered up the Sherbet (#125) that had pieces of dried apples and pineapples in the mix, and a Vegan chocolate peanut butter bar that tasted just like a Reece's cup with Rice Krispies in it!  I really like the vibe of this place.  It's definitely a place you can go and chill by yourself or with a group of friends.  If you need to get some work done, they also offer free WiFi!

Next up, we are trying the "Deep Sleep".  It's one of their best sellers.  It has a blend of chamomile, rosehips, lavender, pink peppercorn, valerian, honeybush and kava kava. Blair and I are hoping it will help us get to sleep a little easier at night.

We plan on going again soon, and trying the small tea service. It
includes tea sandwiches, a large pot of tea, chocolate truffles (Vegan, of course), sliced fruit, and your choice of a scone or a yummy baked good with butter or jam, all for $23(not per person)! Most of their sandwiches have Vegan substitutes also.
We're thinking of starting a tea adventures beginning at #1 and working our way through each different tea. Wish us luck!
